 enchilada casserole


1-1/2 lb hamburger
chopped onion
1 qt stewed tomatoes
1/4 cup flour
salt & pepper
1 tsp regular chili powder
1/2 tsp hot chili powder
(Or use 1 can mild enchilada sauce in place of chili powder)


Brown hamburger with onions; drain off any fat. Add flour, then stewed tomatoes (blended). Simmer. Soften tortillas; put layer of tortillas in 9x13 casserole dish, then a layer of sauce. Repeat several times. Top with grated cheese.

Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes
