Mom's Pie crust
6 cooked bacon slices
½ cup shredded Swiss cheese
½ tsp salt
¼ cup minced onion
¼ tsp sugar
1 dash cayenne pepper
1 cup light cream
Sprinkle bacon, cheese and onion in the bottom of a frozen
pie shell. Beat together eggs, cream and seasonings. Pour
egg mixture into pie shell.
Bake in pre-heated 425 degree oven for 15 minutes on the
bottom shelf. Reduce the temperature to 325 degrees and
continue baking for 20 minutes or until a knife inserted
comes out clean.
Let stand for 10 minutes before cutting.
